Are you a mother with children who has experienced/witnessed abuse in your home?
If so, Building Connections is a community group treatment program for children between the ages of four to sixteen and their mothers.
Building Connections gives women and children a safe place to talk about the violence they have experienced. Mothers will be supported as they help their children to heal from the effects of violence. Children will be supported as they begin to heal from the effects of witnessing woman abuse.
If you have questions or would like information on being part of this group, please call Jon, Christine or Sharlene at (807) 274- 4807. Collect calls will be accepted. Babysitting and a ride to the group may be provided if necessary.
